Job Assessment

Job Assessment involves reviewing a participant’s work history, interests, and abilities to determine the most suitable types of jobs or training opportunities. Providers work closely with each individual to identify community job options that align with their goals and strengths. When a participant also receives Behavioral Support Services (BSS), Job Assessment is completed in coordination with their Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and Crisis Intervention Plan (CIP) to ensure consistent and effective support across services.

Job Finding

Job Finding focuses on identifying specific employment opportunities that match the participant’s skills and interests with the needs of local employers. Staff provide personalized assistance throughout the job search process to ensure the best fit between the individual and the job. When a participant also receives Behavioral Support Services (BSS), Job Assessment and Job Finding are conducted in alignment with their Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and Crisis Intervention Plan (CIP) to promote success and stability in the workplace.

Supported Employment

Supported Employment provides ongoing assistance to help participants maintain successful employment once a job has been secured. This service focuses on reducing the need for continual aid by empowering individuals to work independently and confidently in their roles. It is designed for participants who, due to their disability, require ongoing support to function effectively in a work environment. Supported Employment is delivered in integrated community settings—either paid or volunteer positions—that include co-workers without disabilities, promoting inclusion and meaningful participation in the workplace.
