Focus Behavioral Health, or Focus, is one of the leading providers under the Adult Autism Waiver in the state of PA. Focus offers a variety of different services to help aid and support families as well as individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. Some of these services include the following:
In - Home and Community Supports

In-Home and Community Supports assist individuals in developing and maintaining the skills needed to live independently and participate meaningfully in everyday community life. Services include guidance and support in areas such as self-care, healthy living, decision-making, home management, communication, transportation, socialization, and community involvement. Each plan is tailored to the individual’s goals, promoting personal growth, independence, and full inclusion in their community.
Companion

Companion Services provide direct support and supervision to ensure an individual’s health, safety, and overall well-being. Companions assist with daily living activities such as grooming, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, and other essential tasks. These services are designed to promote comfort, stability, and a consistent quality of life while encouraging independence and engagement in day-to-day routines.
Community Participation Support

Community Participation Support helps individuals take an active role in their communities through inclusive activities alongside people without disabilities. This service encourages the development of meaningful social roles, relationships, and experiences that build confidence and independence. The goal is to expand community connections, enhance personal growth, and support each person’s pursuit of a fulfilling and purposeful life.
Behavioral Support Specialist

Behavioral Support Specialists evaluate and address behaviors of concern by conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIP). The BSS provides staff training, ongoing support, and data-driven progress monitoring to ensure effective implementation. Services include both direct and consultative support, with 24/7 crisis intervention available to promote safety, consistency, and long-term behavioral success.
